You'll learn essential techniques from design to creation, culminating in a stunning chain bracelet that you can wear home. Ideal for those seeking a creative experience, this workshop welcomes all, regardless of previous soldering or metalworking experience. You will learn all the basic silversmithing techniques: • Soldering • Forging • Hammering • Sawing • Texturing • Polishing You'll learn to use an assortment of tools: • Piercing Saw • Soldering Torch • Mandrels • Punches • Files • Pliers • Metal & Rawhide Hammers • Metal Stamps • Drills & more! All Metal & Consumables ARE included in this course fee. During the course you will do fine and detailed work. You will work with open flames, molten metal, sharp blades, mild chemicals & hammers. Attention to detail is essential! Bring reading/magnifying glasses if required. Ensure long hair is tied back. Wear closed shoes and clothing that covers your legs.
